When I choose the kill video option, it encodes till near the end and a popup appears saying error and asked me to use force conversion.
After I check the force conversion, the same error occur.

I get this same problem. Any advice on how to actually kill the video or rip just the audio from the videos?

There was a bug causing the audio not to be converted, the bug has been crushed in PSPVC v3.80
